What We're Looking For
- Age 18 or over (or 16+ with parental consent)
- Good physical fitness and health
- Commitment to regular training and call-outs
- Residence in or near Waitara
- Willingness to learn and work as part of a team
- No previous experience required - we provide all training!
What to Expect
Initial Training
New members undergo comprehensive training covering firefighting techniques, first aid, equipment operation, and safety procedures.
Ongoing Development
Regular training sessions ensure all members maintain their skills and stay current with best practices.
Call-Outs
Members respond to emergencies including fires, medical incidents, motor vehicle accidents, and natural disasters.
Community Events
Participate in community education, fundraising events, and public demonstrations.
